Private/ Private First Class Lyle Tibbet is a protagonist in the 2018 film Overlord. Tibbet is a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division assigned to destroy the Nazi jamming tower Ciel Blanc. During his mission, he meets a young boy named Paul who he slowly warms up to. Tibbet eventually takes a bullet trying to evacuate Paul from a battle site. he is one of the surviving members of the paratrooper unit and was going to be reassigned to continue fighting in the war.
